Surprise, AZ – (Sep. 15, 2021) – If you live in the West Valley, you know that getting to downtown – these days – can take an hour or more. The growth in our state has fueled the economy, but it also creates heavy traffic on our roadways.

Thanks to a new partnership between the Arizona Coalition for Military Families (ACMF), Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services, Northern Arizona University (NAU), Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation, Rio Salado Community College and the City of Surprise – you won’t have to leave the West Valley to access personalized, no cost service to help you maximize your military benefits.

The brand new West Valley Military and Veteran Success Center is now open as part of the Surprise Resource Center, located at 12425 W. Bell Road, Suite 124. The center includes a variety of military and veteran support services and resources, made possible by the generous support of partner organizations and all West Valley cities.

This new location in Surprise is a convenient place to walk in and access face-to-face support to get your specific questions answered by a local expert in military and veteran benefits, programs and resources. If you’re unable to drive down to the new West Valley Military and Veteran Success Center, we have you covered. You can access the same personalized, local support from our Arizona-based Resource Navigators available to all service members, veterans and their family members at no cost by calling our Support Line at 866-4AZ-VETS (866-429-8387).
