About the Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus Designation

Certification Guidelines

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families (ACMF) provides no-cost training for the employees, staff, faculty, and leadership of colleges, technical schools, universities, and other higher education organizations that have earned or are working to earn the Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus (AVSC) designation from the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services (ADVS). 

The Military Culture Training is an opportunity for people to learn more about how the United States military operates and what service members, veterans and their families have experienced so they can better understand the military experience and lifestyle. At the conclusion of this training, participants will have a better understanding of the unique strengths and contributions that military-affiliated people bring to an organization as well as a clearer picture of the support they can offer service members, veterans and their family members.
