Losing someone to suicide is deeply painful and very personal. Feelings can be complex after experiencing a loss, that’s why connecting to support is an important step. Know that although it may feel like it, you’re not alone. Our caring, trained team is here to support you every step of the way.

Helping You Through What Comes Next
We provide compassionate, confidential support specifically tailored for individuals, families, organizations, and communities after the loss of a service member, veteran, or family member to suicide. Our goal is to help survivors heal, find meaning, and connect to resources that can assist them through the grieving process.

Individuals & Families

We offer compassionate support to help you find comfort and understanding. Our team can connect you to grief counseling, guide you through practical matters, and work with you to create individualized care plans.

Organizations

We provide tailored support and specialized guidance to organizations impacted by suicide. This includes crisis management consultation, staff training, and supportive resources for employees to cope and move forward.

Communities

We support communities through coordinated outreach, educational workshops, and healing-focused initiatives that build connection, promote healing, and strengthen long-term resilience.

No. All support services are offered at no cost to individuals, families, organizations, and communities in Arizona.

Anyone in Arizona who has been affected by a suicide loss involving a service member, veteran, or their family member is welcome to reach out. We also support organizations and communities impacted by suicide.

A member of our trained team will reach out to you within two business days to talk through what you’re experiencing and help create a support plan that meets your needs.

We offer grief counseling referrals, care navigation, emotional support, crisis response guidance, staff training, and community healing initiatives—tailored to individuals, families, organizations, and communities.

No. We serve anyone impacted by the suicide of a service member, veteran, or their family member – whether you are a loved one, friend, colleague, or part of a community affected.

Suicide loss has an immediate impact and also can impact people in different ways for years into the future. You are welcome to reach out to our team at any point in your loss journey.

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families facilitates the Be Connected Postvention program, in partnership with our federal, state, and community partners. The Postvention team is a connection point to access resources from all these different partners, depending on the needs for each situation.

Yes. If you’re supporting someone who may need help or if you’re part of a group affected by a suicide, you can reach out on their behalf, and we’ll help guide the next steps.
