National Day of the Deployed
The National Day of the Deployed is observed on October 26 to honor and show appreciation for the service and sacrifices of deployed military personnel. The day's observance works to raise awareness of the important role that deployed service members play in defending the country and protecting America’s interests abroad, as well as the sacrifices they and their families make.

First Annual John Mateczun Memorial Veteran Resource Fair
10 South 6th Street, Cottonwood, AZ 10 South 6th Street, Cottonwood, AZVeterans in the cottonwood area are invited to the first annual John Mateczun Memorial Veteran Resource Fair on Friday, Oct. 27 from 9 AM - 2 PM at the Yavapai County Complex, 10 South 6th Street in Cottonwood.

Community Helper Training
We invite you to join us for the Be Connected Community Corps training series. This self-paced virtual training is offered at no cost to any Arizonan interested in becoming a source of support for service members, veterans, and their families. You can enroll and start this training series at any time! Military Caregiver Month
The significance of Military Caregivers Month lies in its recognition of the sacrifices and resilience of military caregivers, as well as the need to provide them with resources and support to help them cope with the challenges of caregiving.

The significance of Military Family Month lies in its recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of military families, as well as the need to provide them with support and resources to help them thrive.
Warrior Care Month
Warrior Care Month is an annual observance in November that honors and recognizes the sacrifices of the wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families.

U.S. Marine Corps Birthday

20th Annual Veterans Day Weekend Traditional Pow Wow
Celebrate Native American heritage and honor the contributions of all U.S. veterans at the Native American Heritage Festival featuring the 20th Annual Veterans Day Weekend Traditional Pow Wow on Fletcher Library Lawn at ASU’s West campus.
