U.S. National Guard Birthday

This day recognizes the important role played by the National Guard in protecting American communities and responding to domestic emergencies. The National Guard serves as the country's first line of defense in times of domestic emergencies and operates under the authority of both state and federal governments.

U.S. Space Force Birthday

The significance of the Space Force lies in its recognition of the critical importance of space to national security and the need for this highly specialized and advanced military organization that plays a critical role in ensuring America’s continued dominance in space.

Four Chaplains Day

Four Chaplains Day is a holiday that honors the memory of four chaplains who sacrificed their own lives to save others during World War II. On February 3, 1943, the USAT Dorchester, a military transport ship, was torpedoed by a German submarine.

USO Birthday

The USO, or United Service Organizations, is a nonprofit organization that provides programs, services, and live entertainment to members of the U.S. military and their families.

Salute To Veteran Patients

Salute to Veteran Patients Day is a holiday observed annually on February 14. The day is dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans who have served their country, particularly those who are currently hospitalized and receiving medical care.

Arizona’s Birthday

Arizona’s birthday is celebrated on February 14t This date marks Arizona’s statehood in 1912, when it officially became the 48th state to join the United States- the last of the contiguous states to be admitted to the Union, completing the United States as we know it today.

MOAA Birthday

The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is a professional, nonprofit, and nonpartisan organization that advocates for a strong national defense while supporting policies that benefit military members and their families.

K-9 Veterans Day

K-9 Veterans Day is observed annually on March 13 to honor the service and sacrifices of military working dogs and their handlers.

American Legion Birthday

The American Legion is a nonpartisan organization of U.S. wartime veterans that was founded in 1919. Its mission is to support and advocate for veterans, promote patriotism and national security, and support youth and community programs.

National Women’s Military History Week

This observance recognizes the contributions of women in military service throughout American history. The week-long celebration honors the women who have served in the U.S. armed forces in times of war and peace and highlights their sacrifices, bravery, and achievements.

Supreme Sacrifice Day

Supreme Sacrifice Day is observed on March 18 each year to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. This day recognizes the bravery and selflessness of military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and other first responders who have given their lives while performing their duties.

Rosie the Riveter Day

Rosie the Riveter Day is celebrated on March 21 each year in honor of the iconic cultural icon that represented the hardworking women who supported the American war effort during World War II. Rosie the Riveter symbolized the millions of women who entered the workforce to replace male workers who were fighting in the war.
