It is also a reminder to the broader community of the ongoing impact of military service on families, and the importance of supporting them during and after their loved one's service.

VFW Birthday

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is a U.S.-based organization founded on September 29, 1899. The VFW's offers military assistance programs, youth scholarships, and educational initiatives.

U.S. Navy Birthday

This day recognizes the courage and commitment of the Navy's sailors and their pivotal role in defending America's interests on the high seas.

Military Family Month

The significance of Military Family Month lies in its recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of military families, as well as the need to provide them with support and resources to help them thrive.
