Phoenix, AZ – (Sep. 14, 2023) – The Arizona Coalition for Military Families (ACMF) recognizes how important its partners are in carrying out of vision to provide support and resources for Arizona’s 500,000 service members, veterans, and their families. To that end, the Arizona Coalition for Military Families hosted a Team of Teams meeting on September 14, 2023.
A Team of Teams meeting, a concept derived from General Stanley McChrystal’s organizational approach, brings together multiple teams to discuss, align, and collaborate on overarching goals and strategies.
These meetings are crucial for ACMF as they enhance coordination among various teams, ensuring everyone is aligned with the overall objectives. They also improve communication, reduce silos and encourage information sharing. By fostering a shared understanding of challenges, goals, and progress, these gatherings promote unity and collective purpose.
Team of Teams meetings enable ACMF to respond more quickly to changes and challenges by leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise. They provide a platform for collaborative problem-solving and ensure leadership alignment across different teams, leading to cohesive decision-making and execution.
Another very important aspect of the Team of Teams meetings is interpersonal interaction. With so much happening virtually these days, we always appreciate the camaraderie and relationships that form when people gather together.
Through this interconnected approach, ACMF aims to achieve greater agility, innovation, and overall effectiveness in supporting Arizona’s military community.
