These positions are full-time, hybrid positions that primarily work from home. They can be based anywhere in Arizona. Some in-state travel is required, and all expenses are paid. Support the implementation of a statewide program focused on Arizona’s 500,000+ service members, veterans, and their families by providing day-to-day management of teams, projects, and initiatives. This position requires 3-5 years of progressive experience in managing complex programs, projects, and teams.

This is an essential role in the successful operation of an innovative statewide upstream veteran suicide prevention program. This position will focus on engaging, training, and certifying community helpers and organizations to strengthen their capacity to support service members, veterans, and their families statewide. This position requires 3-5 years of experience with conducting training and implementing programs.

Provide support for community organizations and community member helpers statewide. Facilitate referrals and connections to resources; provide follow-up training; grow and maintain the network of community helpers statewide; and play a key role in postvention support for organizations and communities. This position requires 3-5 years of experience in suicide prevention, crisis, and/or postvention.

The Program Specialist will support the implementation of key initiatives focused on reducing the disparity in suicides for Arizona veterans. This includes team and event support, participant tracking, data reporting, and other tasks to support projects, events, and initiatives.
