Inchon Landing

September 15, 2028

The Battle of Inchon, codenamed Operation Chromite, was a pivotal amphibious assault during the Korean War, conducted from September 15 to 19, 1950. Led by General Douglas MacArthur, United Nations forces, including U.S. Marines and South Korean troops, executed a surprise landing at Inchon, a port city on South Korea’s west coast. This strategic maneuver outflanked North Korean forces, leading to the recapture of Seoul and a significant shift in the war’s momentum in favor of the UN coalition.
