Event Description:
Hopi veterans, families, and community supporters are invited to attend a special event focused on key veteran-related topics to expand knowledge, strengthen connections, and improve access to vital resources. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for registered attendees. There is no cost to attend this event.
Representatives from the Arizona Coalition for Military Families, Arizona Department of Health Services, and Northern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System will be on-site to provide presentations and interactive activities on:
- Military/Veteran culture
- Factors that impact veteran and family health and wellness
- The power of social connection in reducing loneliness
- Lethal means safety as a suicide prevention strategy
- Resources and support available to veterans and families
