Closing the Skills Gap to Build the Future Workforce
AZNext is a training program designed to create a bold, innovative, and sustaining workforce development ecosystem that addresses the need for more skilled workers in IT, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing roles in Arizona and across the U.S.

AZNext’s International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) Program is open for enrollment. You’ll learn the core knowledge needed in order to pass the IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) exam. The certificate credential is required by many employers who are seeking to fulfill IT Business Analyst roles within their organizations. IT Business Analysts bridge the technical and business sides of the organization to design, develop and deploy digital technologies.
Who Is This Course Designed For?
Program is accessible to anyone with an undergraduate degree (any discipline) or those who are in the senior year of their degree program.
Program Timeline
The program consists of 10 weeks of faculty-facilitated instruction including readings, exercises, and labs. A weekly online live lecture including industry professionals will discuss each week’s topics.

• Week 2 – Processes and Context
• Week 3 – Requirements
• Week 4 – Projects
• Week 5 – Change and Risk
• Week 6 – Agile Fundamentals
• Week 7 – Business Modeling Fundamentals
• Week 8 – Validating and Verifying Business Models
• Week 8 – Developing Future State Business Model
• Week 10 – IIBA Exam Prep/Career Development
Participants will contextualize what they are learning through relevant engagements with working business professionals.
What You Will Receive
Upon exam passage (cost covered by AZNext), participants will receive an IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis. In addition, participants will have access to AZNext’s network of industry partners for potential job placement.
Admission Requirements
Participants must be:
• 17 years of age or older
• A high school or GED graduate
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Interested in technology and project management
