Be Connected Frequently Asked Questions

Be Connected is a statewide initiative that strengthens Arizona’s ecosystem of support for service members, veterans, and their families by improving access to care, coordinating resources, and fostering meaningful community partnerships.

Be Connected plays an important role in helping service providers and partners work together more effectively to support Arizona’s service members, veterans, and their families. By connecting organizations across systems and communities, Be Connected helps reduce fragmentation and makes it easier for people to access the support they need.

The program strengthens the statewide network of partners by:

• Reducing barriers to access for service members, veterans, and their families
• Improving coordination among service providers across systems
• Strengthening referral pathways between organizations and programs
• Supporting better outcomes through collaboration among partners

Be Connected operates with a “no wrong door” approach, ensuring that veterans and their families receive timely, coordinated, and effective support no matter where they enter the system. This approach helps partners work together more efficiently while ensuring individuals and families can connect to the right resources as quickly as possible.
