This opportunity is well-suited for veterans with experience in HVAC\, electrical maintenance\, mechanical systems\, or similar technical trades. \nParticipants complete part-time remote training followed by a fully funded\, one-week in-person training hosted by Microsoft in Boydton\, Virginia. All flights\, lodging\, and meals are covered. \nKey dates include:\nJanuary 26\, 2026: Virtual training begins\nMarch 2–5\, 2026: Mandatory in-person training\nMarch 20\, 2026: Program completion \nSelections are expected to be finalized by January 15\, 2026. Early interest is encouraged. \nHiring Our Heroes is also offering access to IBM SkillsBuild\, a free online learning platform with more than 1\,000 courses in AI\, data science\, cybersecurity\, and other in-demand fields. The platform is open to anyone 18 or older and includes digital badges upon completion \nAdmission:\nProgram participation is free.
