Just like CPR for medical emergencies\, MHFA equips you to assist in a mental health crisis or non-crisis situation. \nBy completing this course\, you will: \n\nLearn the common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.\nUnderstand how to interact with someone in distress.\nGain strategies to provide initial support and connect individuals to professional help.\nExplore expanded content on trauma\, substance use\, and self-care.\nPractice using the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE).\n\nThere is no cost to participants for this training\, and everyone is welcome.
