DESCRIPTION:The Battle of 73 Easting\, fought on February 26\, 1991\, during the Gulf War\, was a decisive tank battle between U.S. armored forces\, primarily the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment\, and Iraq’s Republican Guard.
