DESCRIPTION:The Battle of Marjah\, also known as Operation Moshtarak\, began on February 13\, 2010\, as a major NATO-led offensive in Helmand Province\, Afghanistan\, aiming to eliminate Taliban control in the region\, particularly in the town of Marjah. Involving over 15\,000 Afghan\, American\, British\, Canadian\, Danish\, and Estonian troops\, it was the largest joint operation of the war at that time.
