The Phoenix VA Health Care System will be holding a Hiring Fair on Saturday, October 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To attend the Hiring Fair, applicants must first apply to at least one of the job announcements listed below on USAJOBS. Applicants meeting minimum qualifications for VA employment will receive an invitation to RSVP for the Hiring Fair.

Veterans are encouraged to attend to learn more about services available for housing, benefits, education, financial assistance, veterinary services, legal services and much more.

4th Annual Tribal Veterans Symposium

Twin Arrow Navajo Casino Resort 22181 Resort Blvd, Flagstaff, AZ, United States

The Statewide Tribal Veterans Symposium was created to focus on Tribal Veterans' health, healthcare, and wellness. We will provide presentations that will allow for program and service awareness, professional growth, and networking. This FREE event is for Tribal Veterans, Military Service Members and their families, providers, partners, and stakeholders.

USA Wheelchair Football Championship Game

Join the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the NFL for the 2023 USA Wheelchair Football Championship game on February 7 at Camelback Ranch. Doors open at 10:30 am, warmups begin at 11 am, and the game runs from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Event features complimentary food trucks with hot dogs, burgers, nachos, and desserts available for all spectators. Pre-registration is required for admission.

AZ Statewide Virtual PTSD Awareness Summit

Learn about Posttraumatic Stress and how it may be impacting you or your loved ones. Explore VA and community resources available to help Service Members, Veterans, family members, and caregivers. The summit will include a general session with important information about PTSD treatment and the PACT Act. There will also be breakout sessions to discuss special topics with our VA providers about PTSD and its impact.

Veterans- you’re invited to the Inaugural George Willie Sr. Memorial Veterans StandDown in Flagstaff on Thursday, 6/29 from 9 am - 4 pm at the Twin Arrows Resort and Casino, 22181 Resort Blvd, Flagstaff. Multiple agencies will be on site. Get help with VA enrollment & housing. Haircuts, hygiene kits, employment services, Veterans Court & much more will be available.
