Understanding the Military Experience Training Courses

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families is proud to announce a partnership with Purdue University’s Military Family Research Institute, the Center for Deployment Psychology Uniformed Services University, and the National Guard. Together, we’re offering an opportunity to participate in a three-tiered virtual training experience through Zoom available to anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of the experiences of service members, veterans, and their families.

The Phoenix VA Health Care System will be holding a Hiring Fair on Saturday, October 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. To attend the Hiring Fair, applicants must first apply to at least one of the job announcements listed below on USAJOBS. Applicants meeting minimum qualifications for VA employment will receive an invitation to RSVP for the Hiring Fair.

Veterans and their family members are invited to the Veteran Standdown. This resource fair brings together helpful support services for veterans, their families and pets. Veterans are encouraged to attend to learn more about services available for housing, benefits, education, financial assistance, veterinary services, legal services and much more.
