Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus Training

Training is provided at no cost for schools that have or are working to earn the Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus designation from ADVS.

About this event

Staff and faculty of current and prospective Arizona Veteran Supportive Campuses are invited to participate in no-cost ongoing training focused on military/veteran culture and related topics.

Please select the training date you prefer. A Zoom link will be sent closer to the event.

Friday, July 30, 2021 – 10:00am-11:30am

Friday, October 29, 2021 – 10:00am-11:30am

Friday, January 28, 2022 -10:00am-11:30am

Friday, April 29, 2022 – 1:00pm-2:30pm

Friday, July 29, 2022 – 10:00am-11:30am

Friday, October 28, 2022 – 10:00am-11:30am

AVSCs are required to have key staff attend Military Cultural Awareness training. All Veteran Resource Center employees must attend. Overall 10% of all employees must participate in this or online, asynchronous training. 25% of trained employees must be academic faculty members.
